Am never been a planner kinda gal (okaaaay maybe you should put aside event-planning which I tots LOVE!). Everything for me is always the-spur-of-the-moments kinda thingy. But Airasia on the other hand, has turned me into a whole different kinda person to the extend that I’ve mapped out my vacay-plan for the whole next year (Contradict much?)🙂 Let see..
Sabah with extended family (I’m talking 22 people here) end Feb til early March. That reminds me to carik accomodation now that everything else have nearly been finalised (brother’s wedding, my exam and every-etc-else) and since it’s just a few months away. This is gonna be the toughest job ever since we’re a huge entourage (with 7 kids altogether!). Since I’m the event organiser, and dah pernah pergi Sabah, I can always plan the itinerary effortlessly but this time it’s gonna be difficult sebab banyak sangat kepala (and hati) nak kena jaga. Hope everything turns out well (well…it was my idea to go there at the first place, so be equipped with whatever incoming la..). Hehe.
Surabaya with Lisa, Keira and hubby Boy. I owed it to them for a great birthday bash last October in PD so I thought we ought to make this “birthday getaway”our new tradition. It’s both Lisa and Boy’s birthday in May so we’re killing two birds at once. Just. Can’t. Wait. (You may ask, of all places, why Surabaya?) –
- All of us never been there
- I wanted to go to Indonesia (Yes, I have hots for Indons. Yeah right!) and I always have this fetish of choosing the farthest place from home (refer map) when Airasia is having rock-bottom promo. Baru berbaloi!
- Talking about killing two birds with one stone, I thought it would be cool if we check out Madura as well. It’s just a bridge away (ok sila Wiki)
Then there is quick getaway to Kuching (see I told you I’ll make it happen regardless!). Nisa was so kind offering herself to bring (more like accompanying) me to Kuching since she knows how badly I need to leave my mark there. So, it’s gonna be a verrrry quick trip – 2 nights. I know everybody who have been there justified that there’s nothing much to brag about Kuching, but what do I care, I want to check it out anyway! We intend to just chill at hotel room/swimming pool, gobbled heartily upon the scrumptious seafoods and bring back bundle of kek lapis! :)
Then the time comes for the BJ clan trip in July/August (we have successfully made this a yearly trip; Phuket 2008, Bali 2009). Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam! It was so hard to pick a place, especially coz everybody has been everywhere! My first choice was Beijing, no doubt, but we had a hard time securing the tix. And then there’s time-constraint, we had to go after May, coz only by then Liza will be able to travel, after safely delivering a healthy baby (InsyaAllah). So after due consideration, we don’t really have much choice. But they (Liza + Luqman, Shahnaz, Arda, Mon, Nani + Kamal + baby Rifqi) were cool about it. They don’t mind as long as we go somewhere! Everybody needs a break sometimes. (Heh, I however need it every other time!)🙂
I’ve planned my trips well. All before September comes. Coz deep inside, I secretly wish that I’ll sit on a one-year vacation abroad after that (got what I mean?). InsyaAllah. God is Great🙂
