It’s only Thursday and I’ve already had enough drama for the rest of the week! Never one day my day passed by dully. Haha. Fret not, I, however, am not such a drama queen ok!
Monday, I was supposed to meet this guy for a date minum2. He was an ex’s bestfriend and we met few years back while I was still going out with the ex. But the date turn tak jadi coz I ended up stucked at LRT coz I left my car keys at the office and he was stuck at home, down with fever! I guess we keep missing each other. But perhaps it’s a good thing? Since he’s totally taken!
Ps: Mental note – playing with fire could be fun, but it may get nasty at the end. You’ve never learn that enough, have you, Syeda? *wink*
Went to gym with my boss and few other colleagues. My boss wanted to check out the place, and asking me to sign up as well since the gym is like a fart away from our office. But really, another gym sign-up? I have better plans in mind now (..car..house..etc) and couldn’t afford to invest my money in a pit where I know I’ll end up playing hookie later. Haha. Malas ok. I can always jog at the park during weekend (if I want to) and subscribing for gym (again!?) is the last thing I wanna do. Plus, I really don’t want to be seen hanging out with my boss every single day after work. She’s ok though, it’s just me who always have problem with this setting-up-perimeter-boundary thingy
But, we had fun tho. I finally got to see the goofy side of her I’ve never seen before (boss=goofy? Doesn’t always go in one sentence). Hehe 🙂
Yesterday, took the morning off to attend this small gift-giving ceremony held by the magazine. I finally get to meet the magazine crew and its Editor-in chief (Asiah Mion, she’s such a humble!). She used to be the Editor for Wanita magazine for years and finally replaced Rosie Haslinda’s place who is now leading Intrend magazine. I also got to meet one of MPR’s alumnus (Khairul Nizam) who has been so kind inviting me to join the MPR’s get-together (in case you guys don’t know, it’s this course we attended – Minggu Penulis Remaja – were selected to join after our cerpen/puisi were published in Dewan Siswa/Sastera etc. Haha, I was the minor-est in the club back then, I was just 15!) Among others are Faisal Tehrani, Saharil Nizam, Faizal Musa, Raihani Said, Wira Budiman Azizan, whose names are big in the industry now. Hmmm..I really am not the type of person who like to stand in the limelight (hah as if) and prefer to be di belakang tabir, without anyone knowing me. Plus, my writing piece are nothing if compared with those big names..
But Khairul already promised me jobs later. Writing for Tunas Cipta magazine and other magazines he always send his work as well. I never thought my favourite pastime (ie writing!) could be this fun and I got to meet new people although it is widely-known that I have an anti-social written as my middle name 😉
And in return, I promised him that I’ll write more often!
~Can you distinguish between the writers and the winner for fashions column? I bet you can..~
Usually, any writing piece I did would only be given cheque of RM150 or so. But this time around, I was given a GEOX voucher of RM699 for my piece. Tak menyempat terus pergi OU with Keira (who was so nice teman-ing me throughout the day!) and bagged myself my most expensive shoes ever! Hehe..
~ although super-expensive, the designs are bit orthodox. This is by far the most appealing design to my eyes (and surely the most expensive too!)~
Ok that’s all folks. Banyak kerja plus I suddenly lost my train of thoughts. Tadi mcm ada banyak je benda nak citer. Till..whenever! 🙂
