So I went to see an orthopaedist at PMC yesterday.
I got my X-ray done the day before, and was directed by my doctor here to go see an orthopaedist. Turn out I have a dislocate joint atau dalam Bahasa Melayunya lumbo sacral something2. My ortho (a very nice Dato’ Dr) said it was nothing major, but I have to come see him next week and the week after for physiotherapy. He was so nice during our physiotherapy session that I was thinking to bake him some home-made choc chip cookies on my next visit. No? 😉
And no, I didn’t get a 2-week MC. Sigh.
He advised me not to lift heavy objects, not to put too much pressure on the area of pain, to change my mattress (I wish that’s covered under the hospital bill), not to do any exercise for the time being (running, futsal etc), not to drive (yeah right? as if I can?) and try to eat medicine religiously (I think that’s the hardest part to do of all his advices – I never complete medication course be it how serious the pain was – not a big fan of pills and tablets – don’t even ask why).
So, wish me all the best.
And no, it’s not because of ‘they are huge’ (I did asked the doc of what triggers the dislocate of the joint, and he said this was the result of my heavy sports activities during my early days) Sorry I dissapoint you Anne.
Till the next bitching session! 😉
