Continued from the last entry..
Oh who doesn’t just love birthdays??!! (I, however, know some people who don’t and still can’t fill my head on the whys). I love planning for parties, inviting friends to one, bringing people together, opening the mountain of gifts, savouring the delectable foods and most importantly the CAKES!! I just love choosing my birthday cakes (I was grateful that these days friends are the one throwing parties for me). That’s why I feel I’m obligated to throw parties for goodfriends (at least a cake and a treat) as to return the kindness my friends have given me in these beautiful many years.
So, let’s continue the party, shall we? 🙂
Those are the wajib guests – my neighbours, Nizam (we hardly talk now and he’s such a hottie also!), Huda and Shima (happily married with kids) and Noor (we never talk anymore but smile and nod everytime we bumped at the gate) and sometimes my cousins come as well.
big chocolate cake. i soo love!
See, nampak tak Aful menyibuk kat tepi tu? I was Standard 1 this time but a lively and very busy Standard One-er at that. Pagi2 pergi sekolah rendah with my dad naik motor (lagi dekat kalau naik motor, if naik kereta kene pusing one whole round). Petang pulak pergi sekolah agama kat area rumah till 5 and then main depan rumah sampai Maghrib. Malam got tuition class till 10 then tido. The only thing I regretted was that my parent didn’t send me to a Chinese school just 5 metres from my house!! Kalau tak pukul 7 pun boleh bangun and straight pergi sekolah (and I’ll sure be fluent in Chinese as well) 😉
Gipang tak gipang la ada 2 kek this year (one was given by my auntie). I was in Standard 2 masa ni. Noticed my parent got the new settee? Mum said it was TDF that time. Paling best kalau time birthdays my uncles and aunties came and they give me notes! (Mind the early detection of that materialistic trait). Nothing much happen this year. Play-play-play-err study-and more play! 😉
Beyond doubt, best birthday ever (at least the tiered cake was top-notch). I’m into pink starting this year and I picked the cake after roaming from one bakery to another in Serdang area! (hey, it was a hassle job, Serdang has at least 3 bakeries at that point in time taw!) Oh, don’t you just love being a child?
I’ve started joining the school’s hockey team after being discovered by my brother’s coach (hence the hitam legam) and been traveling across Malaysia all the time with the team by bus (Kelantan, Ipoh, JB). Best time of my life. Pagi sekolah rendah, then balik for lunch, petang sekolah agama, scooped early for hockey training and main sampai azan Maghrib. And I ride to school by myself too! Us siblings, dad got us each LeRun for ourselves (mine was pink, duh, definitely) but lepas satu, satu bicycle kene curi right inside our house! I remembered most there was a dilapilated house on the way to school and everytime we passed it after the hockey session (around dusk like that), semua akan pecut giler like nobody’s business (and some says they even saw an entity standing by the window too). Euwwww…
