You know in movies they have these distinctive heroes and villains, good and bad people kan? Have you ever think which one are you?
I came across an incident that triggered me to write this entry. I just don’t understand how some people have the nerve to judge other people based on appearance and attitude. What you see is not what you always get.
Who are you to define one girl without proper attire is one stride lower than the girl in tudung? One who behave and dok diam2 macam tikus is any way better than the one yang huha huha and having lots of fun? It’s sad to see this labels they’re putting on these people. I’ve encountered many souls that are seen good outside, but rotten on the inside. Sad truth is, people always claim them better than the ones that are easily seen as the felons.
Having friends from every walks of attitudes and manners made me realize that judging is one sinful act. Hanging around and be seen with friend in hot pants and spaggethi strap, smoking and drinking while I myself putting on my tudung don’t define who I am, let alone sinking myself to a lower level. Everybody have their own niches. At the end of the day, purity and clarity of the heart what matters the most. Yes, tell me about it coz I’ve met girls with tudungs and never missed their prayers that have hearts as black as a pitch dark night.
So note to the judges (without having to take exams at the Bar Council at that) out there, don’t go running around judging people. You’re in one oblivious state of mind. Putting yourself one notch upper from anybody else doesn’t define how good you are. Plus, who are you to judge other people while God never does?
Ps: Mind the rattling off. Peace out 🙂
