Please note that from now on all my entries on weekdays would be verrry late in the evening. Muahaha. Boss right behind me maaaaah.. What to do? 🙂
Want to blog about cerita yang agak basi. Last weekend – Saturday went to IDP in Jalan Ampang with dear Ani – checkout our study plan (finger-crossed it would happen). Later, quick loot at Isetan KLCC – yeah, what else? Of course new attire for first day (yeah, that is soooo me – new cloth for first dates, new cloth for first days, new cloth for vacay etc). Oh, did I mentioned that I took public transport that day? *kaki rasa mcm nak patah, kepala rasa macam nak berpusing and I definitely came home smelling like a pig!* Balik rumah, quick nap then get ready for Peja’s wedding in Shah Alam Club. Ani picked me up at MV and her Integra drove us to SAC. Hmmm..just the wedding I imagine I would be in (hehe, Ani I sooo know you don’t like) – fresh flowers, proper ceremony, with MC and everybody seated nicely at their tables, food presentation, grandeur entrance by the bride and groom so on so forth. (Haih Peja, we had a history back in school you know. It could’ve been me on that altar with him..hehehe)
Sunday, date with Alan for Qistina wedding in UKM hall. Wow, came with an anak Dato’ to another anak Dato’ wedding – makes me feel like a celeb. Everybody knows Alan and his dad, so jalan2 sikit je semua orang will like “Where’s Dato’ Idris?” And mind you, Alan is still loose on the market and definitely worth checking out! (Too bad, we stayed in friend-zone way too long) We were among the firsts to arrive, too bad can’t see Qistina bersanding coz I have to scoop early balik kampung – it’s granny’s brithday today! And Qis’ wedding, definitely one of my wedding dream as well. White deco, fresh flowers, marvellous foods and VIP guests. Muahahaha…
Made my way balik kampung and lepak2 je till late hours. Mum bought granny brand new carpet she always liked a looong time ago. And to my surprise, my granny bought new kitchen cabinet and asking for a brand new bed! She’s turning 73 this year, so all her wishes are our prompt commands! Don’t want to deny any of that.. sob sob.. 😦
So, how did the second day went? No lunch with cute boys today – decided to stay in and surf during lunchtime. But I’ve already make a lunch date tomorrow with Rinie from nextdoor dept whom I bumped in the toilet yesterday. I met another 5 new people today alone – in the lift, surau and toilet. Heh, my network here is expanding veryyy fast (especially since HR already shoot an email late yesterday about new recruit aka me to all M*DF Group, sah2 glemer la kan)
This weekend, I’m off to Bangi. Already registered for volunteers for M*BA Sports Day (Amongst all Investment Bankers in M’sia) *enthusiastic giler ko ni* Decided to join as to stretch the network as far as it can get. So, Ani, next trip to IDP next week eh?
Toodles peeps! Me the Investment Banker signing off.. 🙂
