People that never see me must have think that I’m a giant obese over-sized girl (okay, now you have to shrink the image you have in mind to half). And I really2 have to stop making this 2-eateries-in-one-night thing a habit. Here goes:
I don’t have car for these 3 days (thanks to brother who managed to trapped me into lending him mine). So I have to be extra nice to people around me in order to get free pimp their rides. I managed to sweettalked Diana for a ride yesterday morning (eventhough she didn’t go to work at BU but she still was so kind to drive me to work). Night before that, she slept at my house and we chat till ungodly hour. Oh yes I love slumber parties at weekdays when I have so many work awaits at the office in the morning and awaken to an eyebag *sarcasm*
SO.. yesterday was kinda tough. The clock already strikes number 5 but I have yet got a ride. Elok je few minutes later si Ani Fauzia message me ajak accompany her meeting her guy friend (eleh, konon-konon baikla tu tak jumpa ber-2 je)
Considering that I badly need a ride, I agreed to be her scapegoat. She picked me up later and we settled at Secret Recipe The Curve (again and again?), waiting for that guy to show up. I ordered the tomyum noodle *tell you ah, I sampai dah tak tahu nak order apa coz frequent visit sangat, kalau nak meetup je mesti SecRecipe, macamla takde tempat lain*. And she, as usual had the fishychip. Time to order the cake, Ani wanted something choco with cheese.
Me: What you want? Choco Indulgence? Cheesechoc? Choco Banana? Classic Cheese?
Ani’s friend (name not to be disclosed): You ni pernah keje Secret Recipe ke? Hafal semua cake?
(and I tak tahu whether dia perli ke puji but I take it as a compliment anyway) 🙂
Shahnaz texted, said that she wanted to treat me for dinner. Later, she came and we settled at Little Penang Kafe. Being a nice friend that I am, I ordered cendol jela kan. Dah orang kata nak belanja, takkan nak tolak. And mind you, there’s nomore space in my stomach that time, kalau tak memang I nak bedal je the nasi lemak my favvy tu.
~Oh foods you definitely know how to make my day!~ *grin*
Shahnaz dropped me at MV commuter station *his boyfriend was too tired to drive me home, but it’s okay* and it took me one hour to reach home. Adoi tiring!
This morning, I called Shirley on maybe she could spare me a ride, but she clocks in at 8.30. I don’t think I would be able to catch her. She insisted on waiting, but I really don’t want to mess up with her schedule. Hehe. So later I dealt with Mira for a ride and she dropped me at KL Sentral *missed that girl-talk we once lost* and nice uncle taxi brought me to the office safely.
Cupp, this entry was not meant to elaborate on the day I had, it’s just that I want my friends to know that I love ’em soooooo much. I know they love me too because they’re always there for me.
Ps: Try being car-less for one day and you sure gonna appreciate it when you get it back!!
