Can so much relate to the movie. And been laughing a lot throughout the entire showtime. Got the DVD recently and only got a chance to watch it this morning (I was on EL, but syyytt.. don’t EVER tell my boss).
Always a bridesmaid, never a bride? Series memang I tergelak terkenangkan that caption. Why? I think I’m wearing the same shoes as Jane in the movie did. Well, maybe not of the same size, but I do understand how does it feels.
Don’t get me wrong. I’m fine being a bridesmaid, but now it occurs to me that do my friends REALLY want me to be the bridesmaid or they just want somebody LESS prettier standing next to them the whole time. Hahahahahaha.. can’t stop laughing until now.
I got my purple Thai SIlk from Kam*ar yesterday. (Read: WILL BE THE BRIDESMAID FOR HUDA’S WEDDING THIS COMING MAY). Trying to find something that less attractive (like I can steal the moments away from her la kan?) than what the bride’s gonna wear. Sometimes it’s just the unspoken rule that you have to follow. If you’re an ordinary guest, you’re allowed to wear the fanciest and glammest of all dresses. But once a bridesmaid, never a bride? your selections are limited.
Am not complaining. Love the job. I don’t have 27 bridesmaid dresses yet, but I know I have a lot than normal people have. Anyhow, still laughing my heart out over the whole idea of being a bridesmaid. But deep down I do believe that they pick me because I’m their best, not because I look less. Kan, kan kan????? 🙂
Ps: Ani, you have to bring me for the bridesmaid dress spree. I want to look only 1/10 less than whatever it is that you’re wearing. Hehe
