I must admit, maybe my wire a bit putus the other day , when I actually said to the girls that I want to follow Fara on her trip. Gila apa? If I really decided to go, it means I have +/- a month to plan the whole thing. To book the ticket, apply for the visa, do the budgeting and etcetera. So, it has been decided by the Syeda’s life committee that the big trip has to be put on hold :O U have a good time there, Fara honey!
But Cuti-cuti Malaysia trip still will be continued. My mum has voiced out her desire to visit Terengganu to do a little shopping there during year end (read: tudung, songket, sutera, kaftan, kain batik, keropok lekor, ikan masin) . In this respect, me (whom with consensus by the other family members) has been elected to be the organiser for the whole trip (and also the money provider, duh!). The trip will be commenced (God’s will) on 21st December and ends on 24th the same month. Just a short trip but surely is going to be a splendid money splurging! The venue for us to bunk would be the infamous (and oh-so-cheap!) Hotel Seri Malaysia which only cost me RM150 for the family room per night (I have to book for 2 rooms considering the giantness of size of my family members). Amongst the place of interest I have in mind are:
- Pantai Batu Buruk (tengkujuh is coming, so swim at your own risk!)
- Pasar Payang (shop til drop!)
- Masjid Terapung (a must visit!)
- Terengganu Waterfront (stroll along and lay eyes on the water is just amazing!)
- Istana Maziah (err..this one if we have the time)
- Pengkalan Budaya (never been here so would love to go!)
- Rantau Abang (is a 40mins journey from the town, but I think we would make time for this!)
Ps: Can’t wait for Terengganu revisit!
Another trip that is long awaited would be the Sabah trip. We booked the tickets like, a zillion years ago and the excitement has faded away, along with the time. But it is the time to revive the enthusiasm, girls! Sabah, here we come in err…65 days! :O
The tentative plan: to depart from KL and land in Tawau, where the famous granny of Eda stays. We are going to be gluttonous (and no mercy!) with the seafood (lobster, can’t wait to gorge upon you!) by the Semporna seaside. Then we will board the flight and fly to Kota Kinabalu and will start our day at Kundasang, the breathtaking and serene downhill of Mount Kinabalu. We are going to spend one night there at the Kinabalu Park. Eda already warned that it would be freezingly cold there, so mental note to myself: bring extra sweaters and gloves!
We will then move on to the city, (i.e. Kota Kinabalu) where we will stay at Sutera Harbour (owh have I thanked Ani’s fiance enough for being so kind by booking us the exquisite 5-stars BNM’s resort?*wink*) There are so many activities we are going to do here. We are going snorkeling, eat eat eat and eat, visit the market and million other things!
We purposely bought the return ticket after 22nd January, to fulfil Ani‘s wish who’s yearning to celebrate her birthday on the island/boat/water somewhere (I buy your present at Sabah je can ar dear?). I promise you that you are going to have the wonderful-est time there dear (with our presence of course!)
Gonna plan a big major event with the Bukit Jalil clan once I return from Sabah (Liza, Shahnaz, Siti and Mon). The tentative plan is either Bali or Goldcoast. Really can’t wait! :O
